本研究では、想起とはどのような行為なのか、またそれにはどのような意義があるのかについて、発達心理学者・岡本夏木の論考を手がかりに検討した。研究は次の手順で行った：（1）国語教育において想起に関する研究が求められる背景の検討。（2）岡本夏木の論考を取り上げる理由の検討。（3）想起に関する理論的検討。（4）まとめ―国語教育への示唆の検討―。検討の結果、想起は存在的意味と記号的意味の循環的な獲得を促進するエネルギーであることが明らかになった。学習者の自律的な言語学習能力の育成において、想起のプロセスを学びの対象にすることには大きな可能性があると考えられる。

A Theoretical Study on the Significance of Remembering in Japanese Language Education; Based on Okamoto Natsuki’s Discussion

An abstract：

In this study, we examined the nature of the act of remembering and what kind of significance it has, using the psychologist Natsuki Okamoto’s thesis as a starting point.The study was conducted using the following procedures:(1)a consideration of some background research on remembering in Japanese language education; (2)a consideration of the reasons to resume the discussion of Natsuki Okamoto’s work;(3)a theoretical study on remembering;and(4)a general consideration of some suggestions for Japanese language education.Results showed that remembering consists of energy that promotes the cyclical acquisition of existential and symbolic meaning.It also suggested that it is possible for a developing learner to learn this process,by treating it as a learning object in his or her autonomous language learning ability.
