The powder injection is one of the needle-free injections of drug delivery systems, and it delivers a drug to the body by blowing off powder particle drug at high speed. In the past study, the powder injector driven by shock tube was designed and manufactured. The unique structure is a reflected-type shock tube with a contracted cross-section and a supersonic nozzle of millimeter-order diameter. In this study, the particle velocity, which is important parameter for the penetration into human tissue of drug particles, was analyzed by the frame-straddling method and PIV analysis.英語フィールド
