ESWL is a way to destroy stones in the body by focusing shock wave generated outside the body. ESWL is a non-invasive and non-medicated therapy. Medical application of fluid dynamics has a great potential. It was reported that expansion wave generated inside the body also played an important role in the shock wave therapy. It is considered that a therapy that uses the expansion wave can be developed beneficially. For all of these reasons, the reflector was produced in combination with the silicon rubber and the metallic mesh, and focusing of expansion wave experiments were carried out.
