概要:
抄録:
Heart transplants are used as an effective therapy for end-stage heart failure. However, organ shortage is a serious problem. We have developed a 3D bioprinting system to use as an alternative to organ transplantation. Cell spheroids can be printed onto a needle array according to the desired 3D design. We have fabricated and reported scaffold-free cell constructs of various tissue types, such as liver, blood vessels and cartilage. In this study, we have produced cardiac constructs.
