This work develops a tomographic imaging method with using the point source constrained partial differential equation, which is proposed by Teramoto and Ishibashi in 2020 as a novel imaging method based on the divergence of the phase velocity vector field in order to localize cracks and to reconstruct the near-field images of cracks. This method utilizes the pair of cross correlations between the out-of-surface displacement signal and the corresponding orthogonal pair of gradient signals. The square sum of the above cross correlations is proportional to the divergence of the phase velocity vector field in the near-field of the point-like defects. In this study, the computational process of composing a volumetric image from the several snapshots of the silhouettes obtained by the point source constrained partial differential equation method.
