抄録:
Transition and pressure drop characteristics of flow in periodically grooved channel are numerically investigated by using finite difference method. Although examination by streamline is performed, it is not performed by measurement of pressure drop and examination of the characteristic. In addition, the visualization experiment of the flow in a stationary state is conducted, and compares as a numerical solution. It is found that rate of the pressure drop increase on the grooved channel is weaker than that on the smooth plates due to the influence of the circulation vortex formed in concave portion.
