This paper reveals result from toolset consists of GIS and space syntax to understand the urban morphology of historic town. The objective of this study is to clarify the relation of auspicious public spaces according to its priority and urban fabric. Study area in this study is Chiang Mai historic town. Situated in northern Thailand, Chiang Mai contain inherit for more than 700 years. According to its urban spatial condition, it planned within a strong geometry shape and deform-grid network. The angular segment analysis was used to analysed approaching and angular distance in each religious spaces. Buildings egress point was retrieved by field survey and input to GIS’s data. Then, a result of angular segment analysis will overlay with Egress point location. Finally, these overlay result will be discussed and revealed, religious space’s angular length and spatial data will be classified to created material for reinventing. The result of the study revealed that relation between religious space and its cultural-urban fabric. Egress points related to angular length from religious space, reflected the socio-spatial pattern, simultaneously. These determined that religious spaces in Chiang Mai could be reinvented according to its approaching.
