Community Event -Focusing on Lighting Project in Saga City-発表情報:International Graduate Research Conference 2015, Graduate School, Chiang Mai University (iGRC2015), TO-002, December 11, 2015 ページ: TO-002キーワード:Community event, student education, questionnaire survey, revitalization of town center.概要:In Japan, a university reformation project called “Center of Community” is introduced to encourage Japanese university as a center of community, where various talents, information and technology solve local problems in cooperation with communities as self-governing bodies. Saga University is also working as a center of community since 2013, and the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture is joining an event of lighting project
called Saga light fantasy to let the students learn reactivation of city center and technics of lighting. Student’s activities in the town are effective because students can learn positively rather than normal lectures. However, it is unclear how university joins to such an event. In this research, we conducted a questionnaire to 49 students who joined in the lighting project. As results, the following things have been made clear: 1) this project succeeded as student education program because many students felt satisfaction and what they had experienced in
the lighting project, 2) many students were satisfied with credits, communication and experience, and 3) communication in experience is important for student education program.抄録:英語フィールド
