To recover bioenergy from low-grade substrates such as a wastewater, microbial fuel cell technology is one of the potential methods. The electrical generation by using microbial fuel cell was founded ca. one hundred years ago [1, 2]. In the past decade, the concept of microbial fuel cell has been conducted, and the advantage of microbial fuel cell technology is well known now. However, it is lack of proper presentation of the energy data. Moreover, it is still not clear about how much energy from microbial fuel cell can actually recover from the wastewater. We have been investigating the electric power generated from microbial fuel cell setting on mudflat at sea side through a year using small size electrodes. The energy recover from sewage was also investigated.
