Study on needle-free injection has been conducted to enable painless puncture and prevention of needlestick accidents. Our study focused on application of liquid injection and depot injection as a needle-free system. In our past study, the liquid jet including gels has been successfully penetrating into a biological phantom. Also, we found that depending on the viscoelasticity of the biological phantom, a behavior of the penetrating jet is changed. The purpose of this study is to evaluate viscoelasticity by observing behavior of high-speed liquid jet experimentally and numerically.
