Underwater expansion wave has a possibility of the positive utilization to medicine. Therefore, it is necessary to get adequate knowledge about the effect on a human living tissue during the expansion wave irradiation. In this study, as a first step to measure the interaction between a bubble in the pseudo tissue and the expansion wave experimentally, an ellipsoidal reflector that can generate and focus the expansion wave in water is manufactured and a propagating process of the underwater expansion wave is visualized.
