An abstract：

A cell mass culture system characterized by comprising: a handling means for handling cell masses; a first container for pooling therein the cell masses supplied from the handling means, said first container having micropores through which a liquid culture medium can freely communicate with the outside; a second container for housing the first container, said second container being filled up with an excessive amount of the liquid culture medium, relative to the liquid culture medium in the first container, around the first container; and a liquid-removing means for removing water droplets or bubbles remaining in the handling means after supplying the cell masses into the first container.
