本発明によって、任意の３次元空間に各種細胞を細胞塊として配置し、細胞のみから構成される所望の形状の立体構造体を作製する方法が提供される。また、本発明により、細胞塊を任意の空間に配置するための支持体であって、基板と、細胞塊を貫通させるための糸状体または針状体とを備える支持体が提供される。上記支持体は、必要に応じて、取り外し可能な基板を覆うシートを備える。さらに、上記支持体を使用して細胞塊を任意の空間に配置するための方法および立体的な細胞構築物を製造する方法も提供される。

An abstract：

Disclosed is a method for producing a three-dimensional structure composed of only cells and having a desired shape, which is produced by arranging the cells in a three-dimensional space as a mass of cells. Also disclosed is a support for arranging a mass of cells in a space, which comprises a substrate and a thread-like or needle-like material through which the mass of cells is to be penetrated. If required, the support may further comprise a removable sheet for covering the substrate. Still further disclosed are: a method for arranging a mass of cells in a space by using the support; and a method for producing a three-dimensional cell structure.
