大学受験を控えた高校生や研究室配属を控えた学生などを中心に，大学で行われている研究に興味を持つ人々は数多くいる．しかし，大学や研究室の内容を十分に理解せずに大学選びや研究室選びを行った結果，やりたいことと実際の内容にミスマッチが生じてしまう事例もみられる．同様の問題は，様々な情報提供の際に発生する．そこで本研究では，オンラインコミュニケーションを活用した研究室紹介バーチャルツアーの企画と開発を行う．VRカメラとYouTubeを用いて作成したオンデマンド型のバーチャルツアーと，Gather.townを用いた対話型のバーチャルツアーを開発した．オンデマンド型のバーチャルツアーは，高校生向けイベントおよび学部3年生向け卒業研究テーマ説明会で実施し，良い評価を得た．また，学部1年生向けの授業の中で2種類のバーチャルツアーを実施することで評価および比較分析を行った．その結果，2種類のバーチャルツアーを組み合わせることで効果的なバーチャルツアーを実現できた．

An abstract：

Many people, especially high school students preparing for university entrance examinations and students who are going to be assigned to a graduation research project, are interested in the research conducted at universities. However, there are cases in which students choose universities and laboratories without fully understanding the contents of those institutions, resulting in a mismatch between what they want to do and what they actually do. Similar problems occur in the provision of various types of information. In this paper, we plan and develop a virtual tour to introduce laboratories by utilizing online communication. We developed an on-demand virtual tour created using a VR camera and YouTube, and an interactive virtual tour using Gather.town for this purpose. We conducted an evaluation of the on-demand virtual tour at an event for high school students and at a graduation research theme briefing for third-year undergraduate students. We received good evaluations in both experiments. We also conducted an evaluation of the two types of virtual tours in a first-year undergraduate class and compared them. As a result, we found that a combination of the two types of virtual tours is an effective means to implement an online tour.
